Series: Part 1 - Put your domains to work for you

Have you registered domains and don’t know what to do with them? Or did you registered the domains with hyphens or numbers rather than word so that others may not steal your brand? Well now you have a solution to use those domains and put your domains to work for you.

In this series I will be posting many solutions for you so that you can pick and choose the solution that works for you.

The first and simplest solution is to have a landing page with basic text. Second, to put the landing page to work for you, you need to add a some links, and these could be called referral links or affiliates text links or banner links.

As for as the rules and best practices of posting referral links or affiliates links, I will have to post an entire blog on the topic. For now, set up your domain to have a landing page, a page which is not the default from your domain registrar. Yes this may involve you to setup a webhosting account, but don’t worry now a days, companies like GoDaddy and other registrar’s, provide you with free landing page with a hosting account, and some like GoDaddy will provide a web hosting account free with a new domain registration. So make use of your free accounts if you get any. Don’t let them go to waste.

Rosetta Stone: 2125 Error Message

Update 2: It seems if you have an external sync hard drive or storage, setup to keep two computers in sync with each other, the tracking.db3 file will get corrupted. Even if the sync feature is only used on a single computer as a backup method and not connected to second computer. Make sure to exclude the Rosetta Stone folder in case you have any sync features from external hard drives, or service from dropbox, jungle disk, cloud storage or other file sharing application setup on your system. Update 1: Rosetta Stone has posted an update on it's website on how to upgrade. http://support.rosettastone.com/link/portal/14006/14042/Article/5527/Update-Instructions-Rosetta-Stone-Version-3-Latest-Application-Versions Original Post:  If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 then most likely the issue is with the permissions of the Rosetta Stone Software. Try running the program as Administrator. Right click on the "Rosetta Stone Version _" and if available select "R

Google Mail Hangout Message Upon Delete Action

Don't know if I get annoyed this much as the Google's Mail Hangout Message, when I select to delete number or messages. " Because some are part of a Hangout, they have been removed from your Mail mailbox, but will still show up in other Hangouts apps and chat windows. " The message takes over the entire tool bar, and does not allow me to repeat the actions, it does not goes away until way late and would have appreciated but not allowed is a option to close. If I want to delete more items on the same page than i have to refresh the window to repeat the task. Wish the future update can allow me to close this message.
