Today at work I got the Apple's MacBook
that my boss purchased at Microcenter, it is really slick and it was very easy to get started.
Adding the mac to Windows Active Directory was not an issue, but it seems that I cannot give administrator access to my Win AD account, I guess, I would have to dig up some documents to find out, how I can give my AD account the administrator privileges.
Additional issue I am facing is on how to maximize the safari browser window, as double clicking the window is not making it maximize, but rather just large square size, I like the window to maximize in width and not just in height, as this will make the window full size as the screen size of the macbook.
The main reason for the mac purchase is to test drive one of our clients application and to make sure the video's, JavaScript and the pages renders exactly or closely as the windows desktop version. Additionally we have video's on the web site which are developed in windows media player file format of wmv and as windows media video is not default on mac, I installed the flip4mac, I was hoping to see all is well but it's not the case, the video doesn't seem to be rendering correctly and now I would have to find out what is the cause for the issue.
Hopefully if I can find out the issue and also resolve the issue, than I can easily add the Mac or MacBook compatibility to the application.
My only worry for this is to become a nightmare that can't be solved, but hopefully that will not be the case :)
